Find your sweet spot between flexibility and support.
More flexible than our 3/8″ rods and firmer than our 5/16″ rods, the 11/32″ Sweet Spot Rod™ gives you a middle option for everyday dryer vent cleaning. Use it as your main rod size or combine it with other diameters to match the vent layout.
Stainless steel fittings
Each rod features high-quality, laser-engraved stainless steel fittings built for professional use.
More room for your thumbs
An upgraded button and female fitting give your thumbs more room, making the buttons easier to press.
Works with all our rotary tools
Compatible with all rotary tools sold on vent-vision.com, making it easy to build or expand your setup.
Precision-ground and polished. The co-polymer stock is manufactured oversized, ground to its finished diameter, and polished for a smooth surface that helps reduce drag inside the vent.
Making our best rods even better.
We already believed we were selling the best dryer vent cleaning rods available. To make them even better, we brought the machinist who makes our fittings and the plastic manufacturer who makes our rods out to work alongside us for a day of professional dryer vent cleaning.
They experienced the demands of the job firsthand, helping us combine their manufacturing expertise with our field experience to refine the rods and fittings professionals rely on every day.
Which rod diameter fits the job?
Choose the balance of flexibility and pushing support that suits the vent layout.
| Diameter | Feel | When to choose it |
|---|---|---|
| 5/16″ | Most flexible | Elbows, offsets, and flexible forward sections. |
| 11/32″ Sweet Spot Rod™ This rod | Balanced flex and stiffness | An all-around middle option between 5/16″ and 3/8″. |
| 3/8″ | Most rigid of these three | Additional pushing support in longer setups. |
These fractions describe rod thickness, not length. Flexibility comparisons are between the three Vent Vision sizes shown.
Pro tip
When in doubt, camera out.
Running a camera first can often make cleaning faster. You can see the vent layout and measure the run before brushing, so you are working from what you have seen instead of relying on feel alone.
- Inspect and measure. Send the camera through the vent, inspect the route, and record the insertion distance needed to reach the end of the run.
- Pull the rods back out. Keep the rod sections fully assembled when space allows.
- Swap the camera for the brush. Reuse the assembled rod run instead of taking every section apart and rebuilding it.
- Clean to the measured distance. Use your drill to work the brush through the vent with controlled pressure, using the distance you already measured to guide how far you advance.
Build around the vent.
Use 11/32″ rods throughout your setup when their balance suits the job. Add flexible 5/16″ sections toward the front for turns, or 3/8″ sections toward the rear for additional pushing support. Our spring lead can help guide the brush around changes in direction.
Working tip: Advance gradually with controlled pressure. If the brush or rods stop progressing, pause and reassess the setup before continuing.
