Common questions.
Do I need the Green Missile on every job?
No. Stainless steel alone can often handle routine cleaning. Reach for the Green Missile when a lint blockage or heavy lint buildup is severely restricting airflow. Low airflow can have other causes, so inspect the vent and identify the restriction first.
What should I use after breaking up the clog?
Stainless steel may be the only brush you need afterward to clean and finish suitable dryer venting. Add Lint Reaper only for extra caked-on lint in suitable rigid ducting, or Nylon when gentler cleaning is called for. We recommend stainless steel for the finishing pass if another tool was used first.
Can I adjust it for a larger duct on a same-day job?
Yes. The whip line can be adjusted to multiple working diameters when you need a larger head and do not have the proper brush available. With the tool stopped, use a 3/16″ hex key to adjust the line. Match the working diameter and tool action to the duct, and choose a properly sized brush for planned brushing.
